I think we need some news, wouldn't you say?

Hello everyone, I'm glad you came to play! The fun and lrning, never ends! Here's what we did, today (today meaning the past couple of months)!


Don't ask me why I just quoted Barney the Dinosaur. It just came to me. What indeed have we been up to? What waters have we been testing? What mobs have we been killing? What sorts of phat lootz have we gotten ourselves into?

Well, as Lonk put it, we are scattered to the winds right now. In terms of MMORPGs, a few of us are still hanging out in WoW, some less than others. We had a brief month or two long stint in City of Villians, which ended after the majority of the group lost interest in eventually. Lonk and I ran around a bit in the Tabula Rasa beta, which neither of us favoured enough to endorse to the guild as a whole. Lonk was in the Hellgate beta, which met with similar results. I tried EVE for all of 2 hours and fought to stay awake througout, though it seems Korr has taken a liking to pretending to be a spaceship and we have not heard from him for a few weeks now (WTB a Korr PST). Ald convinced me to try Guild Wars, and at the moment I am going through the nub zone. I'm withholding judgement until I'm out, but you can find my initial thoughts on the forums, as well as my review whenever I get around to posting it.

The rest of the time, we've been taking in what has been available. There is a wealth of games available this fall, enough to make a college student go broke (I can has $$?). Check out the forums to see what exactly we are playing at the moment. In terms of MMORPGs, Our last hope for a decent one for while lies with Age of Conan, which isn't due until early next year. Until then, we will continue to shoot/rock/swordfight/build/etc. Seeya on the forums!

PS.. Vent still does get used to just hang out in while we're doing whatever we're doing. Sometimes, someone will just hop on and wait awhile to see if someone notices from watching the vent list on the website. Typically, when fishing like this, within about 15 minutes people will notice if your around.
